Welcome to Allele Microbiome,

I just wanted to thank you for taking the time to visit us. Your time is precious and we are so honoured to have you with us. My story begins 8 years ago, crippled with anxiety and depression, overweight and lacking energy and vibrancy. I was told by my psychiatrist that antidepressants were the only option but being the Scientist that I am, I began to look at alternative ways including numerous research studies to treat my ill health. In 2017 there has been an explosion of Gut Health research. Scientists are discovering that the gut and brain are intimately connected from the time we are born. And tiny microbes that live within us know as the microbiome can affect how we look and feel.  We initially inherent our microbiome from our mothers. As we grow up our diet, lifestyle and environment greatly shapes our microbiome.  Having a dysfunctional microbiome was a key reason for my anxiety and depression and has now been linked to other health issues like Autism, Crohn's Disease, IBS, IBD, Bloating, Candid, Cancer, Obesity, Allergies, Psoriasis, Acne, Eczema, Chronic Fatigue, Asthma and a myriad of others.



The good news is that a dysfunctional microbiome can be changed by diet and lifestyle. This lead to my own personal improved mental health, improved skin and weight loss.

Our microbiome analysis provides:
